Writing Prompt (27)

Today’s prompt is purely hypothetical, and I’m hoping gets your creative juices flowing.

Imagine an old, unassuming woman approaches you on the street. She hands you a glowing stone, and tells you that this stone will allow you to go back into time to change one event. Afterwards, you will return back to the original time.

What event in history do you change, and what aftereffects occur?

Is it a big event in the world’s history? Perhaps it’s just something in your past that you’d change? Let me know in the comments below, and please don’t forget to follow me on here and my other social media  (Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram) to stay up to date on prompts, recipes, and randomness 🙂

      1. Maybe we wouldn’t be so fearful. I hate thinking about the lives lost at Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and that we have world leaders who wouldn’t think twice about unleashing nuclear weapons on us.
